Cassandra Ammons Cassandra M. Ammons is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She is the American Sign Language (ASL) Instructor at Clayton State University, Continuing and Professional Education (CaPE). She graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a BA in Accounting and received her Certification in The ASL Immersion Training Program for Interpreters from Floyd College. Cassandra finds gratification in taking her students on a journey through any subject, watching them grasp the information, complete the course feeling confident, and wanting to continue the learning experience.
Derek Anderson Mr. Anderson served for 8 years in the U.S. Navy supervising preventive & corrective maintenance of engineering plants; air conditioning, refrigeration, hydraulics, fuel, water, distilling, boilers and related equipment. He has worked in the industrial technology field for over 30 years. He has been an instructor with Clayton State since 2000. He has many certifications including the Georgia Board of Construction Industry's Conditioned Air Non-Restricted license, diplomas for Conditioned Air Technology and Advanced Commercial Refrigeration, and Stationary Engineer.

Lou Hampton Louis N Hampton has a combination of 20 plus years of combined information technology, Program and project management experience. Louis is a former Sr. Director, Program Management with Convergys Corporation, Broadband Solutions Group. Following his career at Convergys, Lou has served as the Operations Manager of Project Management with a State of Georgia Agency (the Georgia Technology Authority (GTA)), Sr. Project Manager with Delta Airlines, Sr. Project Manager with CDC (through contract with SRA International) and currently with the State of Georgia as a Program Manager with Georgia Technology Authority (GTA). Lou has successfully managed a number of software, and infrastructure technology projects and embraces the knowledge that the PMI PMBOK has contributed to this success. Louis is a continuous adult learner. He is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI) and a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He also holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.
Sarah P Holmes Sarah Pitts Holmes is the Executive Administrator for an OB/GYN practice and Clinical Research Facility. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Southern Wesleyan University in 1983. Having twenty eight years of experience as a practice administrator has allowed her to manage her practice effectively as well as assist her physician. She strives to keep the practice on the cutting edge of medical technology and clinical research. Sarah has achieved many accomplishments in her career as an administrator. She was conferred with the title of Certified Medical Manager, Healthcare Compliance Officer, Certified Practice Manager, HIPPA Compliance Specialist, and Certified Coding Specialist. Sarah has been honored twice as Medical Manager of the year and selected as a member of Who's Who of Professional Business Women and Who's Who Historical Society of Professionals. She sits on the National Advisory Board of (PAHCOM) Professional Association of Healthcare Office Management and is the current president of the Atlanta Chapter. Sarah has been on the Continuing Education faculty at Clayton State University for five years where she teaches the Medical Coding Specialist Certificate Program.
Sherone LLoyd Ronnie joined University Health Services in January 2014 as a medical assistant. Ronnie brings over 15 years of experience in her field to Health Services having most recently worked with The Emory Clinic for the past several years. Ronnie received her degree in medical assisting from South Georgia Technical College and is presently continuing her education to become a registered nurse.
Kendra Matthews Kendra Matthews has over 20 years of human resource, organizational development and management experience working in various environments, such as Fortune 500, retail, restaurant, real estate, government, federal contractor, as well as working with non-profits and start-ups. Her accomplishments include: developing Employee Handbooks, policies and procedures, conducting OD analyses for state agencies and non-profits, compliance with various employment laws from a federal and multi-state perspective. She has also developed training sessions for employees as well as executive leadership, such as diversity, leadership and management. Her strengths include: strategic planning and management, policy and procedure development, customer service, workforce planning, and organizational development. Additionally, she is currently teaching Human Resources, Management, and Leadership classes at Clayton State University Continuing Education. She currently holds the certification of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 2001.
Norman Miller
Demetra Morgan Demetra Morgan, SPHR, has over 15 years of human resource experience, working in both the private and public sector, in industries such as manufacturing (union and non-union), sales, legal, fast food franchises, restaurants, higher education and State government. She has an affinity for organizational development and strategic planning, particularly with non-profits and community-based organizations. Her accomplishments include developing employee onboarding and orientation programs, policy manuals, standard operating procedures, employee handbooks, recruitment and retention strategies, professional development and training programs, job descriptions, performance appraisals, total compensation and benefits. Her strengths include risk management, organizational planning, customer service, employment law, workforce development and training, employee and labor relations. She is well versed in strategic, operational and administrative HR functions, as she performs all three on a daily basis. In 2011, she earned the certification of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), after completing continuing education courses at Clayton State University.

Robert L. Perry Mr. Perry is currently a safety engineering inspector for Georgia Department of Labor and has been since July 2007. Prior to that he worked as a stationary engineer for the Ford Motor Company for 29 years before retiring. He has been a part time instructor of Power Plant Technology since the fall of 1993. He is also an Examining Engineer and a member of the Georgia State Association of Power Engineers.
Synthia Reese
Ophelia Rivera Ophelia M. Rivera joined the CSU Continuing Education Program faculty in 2006 after 18 years of service with the Clayton County Public Schools. With the support of the program coordinators, she developed the curriculum for the Total Spanish Courses. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a BA in Education, and has a Master of Science in Education from Walden University in Minneapolis. Her educational and professional interests lie in the implementation of advanced literacy methods targeting English and Spanish language learners. Outside of academia, Ophelia loves music and the arts, performing occasionally with a three-piece band around town. She brings the elements of her personal talents to the classroom, where they are used to reinforce skills and share social and cultural insights. Her goal is to make listening and speaking in the target language a dynamic and enjoyable experience. She promotes her students to enjoy the journey of learning a second language!

Kalika Wade CELEBRITY PHOTOGRAPHER? SOUND DESIGNER? RECORDING ENGINEER

Kalika S. Wade is a photographer, sound designer, and musician based in Atlanta GA. She graduated from the school of Film and Digital Media, and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Sound Design, Audio Engineering from the acclaimed Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

When she studied at SCAD, she took courses in film production and grew even fonder of still photography. She started a small business, KW2Studios, a full service photography and graphic design studio with her husband, SCAD alumni and US Army Captain Doniel Wade.

Unlike many photographers, Kalika is equally passionate about business as she is in her art. She has also earned a Master of Business Administration from Ashford University, Clinton, IA.

She has an extensive background in Set Photography, Sound Design, music composition, and post-production, including experience in assembling and editing sound elements for film, video, animation and commercial production.

Over the years, she has executed quality photography for some of the most elite clients, including many celebrities. In addition, her photography work has been featured on celebrity media feeds, magazine publications, and on Atlanta's HotspotATL (hot107.9) website for providing quality photography services for American Hip Hop Recording Artist, T.I and Dekalb County Commissioner Stan Watson.

She has provided still photography on various TV sets, including WeTv's Growing up Hip Hop private screening, Academy Award winner, Mo'nique's independent movie screening of Blackbird, and the set of WeTv's David Tutera and Porsha Williams' Naked clothing line launch.

Today, Kalika continues to focus on her passion for photography and business, and enjoys educating others.

Angela Worrell Angela Worrell is the owner/operator of a home based Sewing & Alteration business located in McDonough, GA. and sewing instructor. Angela has over 40 years of sewing experience, she specializes in bridal wear and alterations. Her garments have been worn by ministers, models and blushing brides alike. They have been featured in pageants, school bands, weddings, fashion shows and many other special occasions. She is well known for her ability to "work miracles" with projects that seem impossible and for her prompt pleasant service to her clients. In fact, she strives to make every sewing project or sewing lesson a pleasant and unique experience for each individual. Angela is a native of Asheville, North Carolina where there was great emphasis in arts and crafts. She immersed herself in a host of courses and activities in the genre as a child and began developing the gift and passion for sewing at the early age of seven.
