Learn how AI optimizes supply chains through route-planning algorithms, inventory forecasting, and warehouse automation. The course covers predictive maintenance of machinery, demand forecasting with machine learning, and the use of AI-powered robots/IoT in distribution centers. Students study real-world examples (e.g. how Amazon, UPS, and local shippers use AI) and experiment with simple models (such as predicting shipment delays). Graduates will be able to apply AI tools to reduce costs and improve efficiency in logistics operations.
