Trilith Institute: Acting for Camera with Alliance Theatre

This course, created in partnership with the Alliance Theatre, teaches students how to perform on- camera acting exercises, sharpen their acting skills take after take, receive individual feedback for their work, learn about close-ups, continuity, and auditioning, and take their first step toward the silver screen. Students will sharpen their on-camera acting skills, develop their film acting technique, create and build relationships, motivate their scenes through positive expectations, and perform scenes on camera.
Put your film acting technique into practice, find out what is expected on a film set, workshop full- length film scenes, and receive direction from experienced professionals.

Course Note: No Prerequisite Required.

*Those receiving a grade of 80 (B) or above in the course will receive a "Certificate of Completion". Complete 3 of the Trilith Institute's Professional Education Courses, and you will receive "Trilith
Institute Outstanding Achievement in Film Arts." In addition, if you have completed 3 courses and our Mastering Self-Marketing workshop, you will be eligible to submit an original project for consideration for our Creative Excellence Fellowship Grant, with a potential award of up to $10,000.
