Trilith Institute: Sketch Comedy Writing II the Writers Room with Dad's Garage

In this 5-week course, students will continue to use the skills learned from the previous Sketch Comedy I class to create and write sketches through the experience of a Writer's Room. In the setting of a Writer's Room, students will communicate ideas and collaborate with one another to develop and refine scripts. Students will use the skills they learned from the previous sketch writing class:
" Improvise to generate content
" Re-improvise material to refine content
" Draft sketches and obtain feedback and notes from the class and instructor Students will leave this class with not only experience of being a Writer's Room but also scripted sketches to use outside of class.
