This 8-week course will explore various laws and policies that affect the education of neurodivergent youth (e.g. ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autism, etc.) and allow parents and professionals who serve in a caregiving role to better understand and navigate challenges these youth may have in educational settings. Learners will walk away with knowledge of current policies and laws, types of education, accommodations and modifications, the child's rights within an educational system and skills and techniques to effectively advocate for the neurodivergent youth.

This course is designed for parents and caregivers with neurodivergent youths such as youth with ADHD, Learning Disabilities and Autism
This course is also designed to assist professionals such as school administrators, counselors and staff, mental health clinicians' health care professionals, social workers and childcare workers.
As a licensed psychologist I am qualified to offer professional CEU to licensed mental health providers
