Sewing II is an intermediate-level course designed for students who have completed Sewing I or possess basic sewing skills. The course builds upon foundational techniques by introducing more advanced sewing methods and garment construction skills.

" Mastery of intermediate machine and hand sewing techniques
" Application of advanced sewing methods such as inserting zippers, piping, buttons, and buttonholes
" Introduction to pleats, gathers, and other decorative or functional sewing techniques.
" Use of commercial patterns, including reading, measuring, cutting, and following instructions
" Construction of complete garments or projects, such as pajamas or other apparel, to apply new skills in a practical context
" Exploration of garment fitting, alterations, and working with various textiles
