This course introduces students to various ways of taking worn-out, damaged, outdated clothing and transforming them into fashion-forward, unique pieces. Students will explore this transformation and create a unique piece based on their individual skill levels.

Notes:

Equipment \Supplies Needed : scissors, thread, chalk, hand needle, marking pencil, seam ripper, pins, measuring tape, seam gauge, clothing . ***Must have your own sewing machine***

Going I-75 South or North, take exit 233 and turn left. Go to sixth light and turn right on Clayton State Blvd. Take the next right at traffic light onto North Lee Street and then left on Simpson Drive. The Harry S Downs Center for Continuing Education will be the last building on your left. You will pass Spivey Hall and the Music Education Building.
