The Power Engineering provides an in-depth overview of the basic refrigeration cycle to include heat transfer, conditioning the air, commercial and industrial systems, freezers, coolers, high and low pressure chillers and cooling towers. Students will also acquire knowledge of steam systems, boilers and acquire a basic understanding of electricity.

Going I-75 South or North, take exit 233 and turn left. Go to sixth light and turn right on Clayton State Blvd. Take the next right at traffic light onto North Lee Street and then left on Simpson Drive. The Harry S Downs Center for Continuing Education will be the last building on your left. You will pass Spivey Hall and the Music Education Building.
